Soccer Recap: Baptist Hill Comes Up Short

Baptist Hill was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the St. John's Islanders, falling 6-1. The Bobcats were not able to make up for their defeat to the Islanders from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

Baptist Hill's loss dropped their record down to 1-7-1. As for St. John's, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Baptist Hill will welcome Branchville at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Baptist Hill has given up an average of 5.2 goals per game this season, so hopefully the team got some defensive drills in this week. As for St. John's, they will host Charleston Math & Science at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
