Softball Recap: Washington Union's Losing Streak Snapped at Six Games

Washington Union came into Tuesday's matchup having lost six straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They were the clear victors by a 14-2 margin over the Central Valley Christian Cavaliers on Tuesday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 13-9 back in April.

Teagen Moles was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with five RBI, one triple, and one double. Those five RBI gave her a new career-high. Makenzie Montes De Oca was another key player, going 1-for-2 with three runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

Washington Union always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .533. They are a perfect 3-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

Washington Union's win bumped their record up to 6-15. As for Central Valley Christian, their loss was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-12.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Washington Union will challenge Exeter at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Central Valley Christian, they will face off against Immanuel at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. The Eagles will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something the Cavaliers surely won't give up without a fight.
