Woodgrove put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Park View Patriots a 20-0 shutout. The Wolverines might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four games by eight runs or more this season.

Woodgrove's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-0. As for Park View, they are on a 16-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.

Looking ahead, Woodgrove will venture away from home to face off against Paul VI at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Wolverines 1.9, the Panthers 2.4) so any runs scored will be well earned. As for Park View, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 16-15 defeat against Freedom on the 28th.
