Basketball Recap: Stanton Comes Up Short

After soaring to 57 points the game before, Stanton was a bit more limited in their matchup on Friday. They took a hard 45-29 fall against East Mills. The Vikings were not able to make up for their loss to East Mills from their previous meeting back in January.

Stanton's defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 3-3. As for East Mills, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-1.

Looking ahead, Stanton will be home for the holidays to greet Lenox at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. East Mills will take on Bedford in a holiday battle at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bulldogs' defense has only allowed 25.8 points per game this season, so East Mills' offense will have their work cut out for them.
