Soccer Recap: Temescal Canyon Takes a Loss

Temescal Canyon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against the San Jacinto Tigers, falling 6-0. The Titans were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Tigers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February of 2023.

Temescal Canyon's defeat dropped their record down to 5-12-3. As for San Jacinto, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-5-2.

Temescal Canyon and San Jacinto could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps California Rankings. Temescal Canyon (ranked 824th) will meet Elsinore (ranked 293rd) at 6:45 p.m. on Friday. Similarly, San Jacinto will face off against West Valley at 5:15 p.m. on Friday down 235 places (446 vs. 211).
