Basketball Recap: East Marion Eagles vs. West Marion Trojans
East Marion kicked off their season on the road on Saturday and hit a couple of potholes. They had to suffer through a 42-8 loss at the hands of the West Marion Trojans. The Eagles lost against the Trojans in their previous head to head back in December of 2023, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 40-29 score last time.
West Marion's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-3.
East Marion has already played their next contest, a 39-37 loss against Seminary on the 19th. As for West Marion, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 56-42 defeat against Oak Grove on the 21st.
