The losing side was boosted by Ah'keem Wilson, who scored 14 points along with five rebounds and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Christian Riley, who scored seven points along with two steals.
Meanwhile, Richmond can now show off 12 landslide victories after their most recent contest on Saturday. They claimed a resounding 74-45 victory over Logansport on the road. The win was just what Richmond needed coming off of a 83-61 loss in their prior match.
Richmond's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Cedric Horton, who scored 18 points. Another player making a difference was Mason Carpenter, who scored 15 points.
Lafayette Jefferson has traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 12-8 record this season. As for Richmond, their victory bumped their record up to 19-3.
