After a string of ten wins, Bearden's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They took a 63-54 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Columbia Christian Crusaders. The Bears were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Crusaders earlier this season, when they won 66-54.

Bearden's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-6. As for Columbia Christian, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 17-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bearden will challenge Emerson at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Columbia Christian has already played their next matchup (against Taylor), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
