Basketball Recap: River Road's Win on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Five

River Road extended their winning streak to five games thanks to a huge performance from Dadrian Wallace. The River Road Wildcats sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 55-53 victory over the Happy Cowboys on Tuesday thanks in part to Wallace, who went 7 for 12 on his way to 19 points and six steals. Those six steals gave him a new career-high.

The team also got some help courtesy of Xavier Lowery, who posted nine points and six steals. He is becoming a predictor of River Road's success: when he posts at least three steals the team is 10-3 (and 1-2 when he doesn't).

River Road's win bumped their record up to 11-5. As for Happy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 12-7.

River Road will venture away from home to challenge Tulia at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Tulia is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 57.5 points per game this season. As for Happy, they will host Silverton at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
