After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Zionsville, Lawrence North was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Lawrence Central Bears by a score of 9-6. The win continues a trend for the Wildcats in their matchups with the Bears: they've now won eight in a row.

Victoria Guyse was incredible, going 1-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in May of 2024. Petra Burton also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.

Lawrence North hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They are a perfect 3-0 when they post two or more strikeouts.

Lawrence North's victory bumped their record up to 6-9. As for Lawrence Central, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last nine matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-13 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lawrence North will be taking part in a tournament against Warren Central at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Lawrence Central, they will look to defend their home field on Wednesday against New Castle at 5:30 p.m. The Bears' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Trojans have averaged an impressive 6.5 runs per game this season.
