Volleyball Recap: Spokane Owls vs. Fordland Eagles
It was a Battle of the Birds when Spokane duked it out withFordland on Tuesday. The Spokane Owls were the clear victor by a 3-0 margin over the Fordland Eagles. Winning may never get old, but the Owls sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.
While Spokane won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-15, 25-16.

When it comes to explaining why Fordland lost, don't look at Lily Kindall. Despite the final result, she had 12 digs. Kindall is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 11 or more in the last four games she's played dating back to last season.
Spokane has been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten matches, which provided a nice bump to their 18-10-4 record this season. As for Fordland, the defeat snapped their winning streak at nine games and leaves them with a 17-6 record.
