Softball Recap: Centennial's Winning Streak Snapped at Six Games

Centennial blew River Hill out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Friday River Hill got their revenge. The Eagles fell just short of the Hawks by a score of 3-1. Having soared to a lofty 21 runs in the game before, the Eagles couldn't push the score so high this time.

Centennial saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Maddie Hall, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Centennial moved to 9-5 with that loss, which also ended their six-game winning streak. As for River Hill, their win was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 2-4.

Centennial didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, an 18-12 victory against Atholton on the 5th. River Hill does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
