State College's game last Wednesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They blew past the Mifflin County Huskies 18-2. Considering the Little Lions have won four games by more than nine runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.
The team relied heavily on Mara Jade McShea, who fired off three triples, five RBI, and three runs while going 3-for-5. The team also got some help courtesy of Sydney Wells, who got on base in four of her five plate appearances with three runs, three RBI, and one stolen base.
State College now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Mifflin County, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 5-7-1.

As for Mifflin County, they will face off against Chambersburg at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The Trojans' pitching crew has only allowed 2.4 runs per game this season, so the Huskies' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
