Football Recap: York County Tech Comes Up Short

York County Tech extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to 12 on Friday, dropping them down to 0-7. They were outmatched by the Bermudian Springs Eagles and fell 42-6. The matchup marked the Spartans' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

As for Bermudian Springs, they now have a winning record of 4-3. That looming 42-6 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for them yet this season.

Bermudian Springs had a senior duo take command as Lane Hubbard threw for 154 yards and two TDs while completing 75% of his passes and Brayden Heller gained 99 total yards and two touchdowns. Hubbard didn't just play on offense: he also made three total tackles and defended two passes.

Looking ahead, York County Tech will be playing at home against Renaissance Academy at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Bermudian Springs, they are taking a road trip to square off against York Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Eagles will be up against the Fighting Irish's rather soft defense (which has allowed 26 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
