Basketball Recap: Northern Continues Home Dominance on Wednesday

Northern had won four straight home games and Bryce Robinson did his part to make it five on Wednesday. Everything went the Northern Patriots' way against the Calvert Cavaliers as the Northern Patriots made off with an 81-58 win thanks in part to Robinson, who went 10 for 18 on his way to 27 points and five steals. Northern is 7-1 when Robinson posts three or more steals, but 2-3 otherwise.

Alec Johnson was another key player, dropping a double-double on 13 points and 11 rebounds. Johnson is crushing it when it comes to boards: he's pulled down at least eight every time he's taken the court this season.

With the victory, Northern broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 9-4. As for Calvert, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-14-1.

Northern wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 70-54 win against La Plata on the 24th. As for Calvert, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 71-33 loss against Great Mills on the 24th.
