Football Recap: Rolling Meadows Starts Season with Loss at Home + How To Watch

Rolling Meadows unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They lost to the Palatine Pirates at home by a 39-22 margin on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Mustangs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois football rankings (they are ranked 222nd, while the Pirates are ranked 22nd).

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Rolling Meadows will host Conant at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Palatine, they will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against Prospect at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
