While Silverton's victory against South Albany wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Foxes skirted past the Redhawks 8-6. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Foxes have posted since April 14th.

Silverton's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 15-5. As for South Albany, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-16.

Looking ahead, Silverton is taking a road trip to take on Woodburn at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The Foxes are facing the Bulldogs at the right time seeing as the Bulldogs are stuck on a 14-game losing streak. As for South Albany, they will square off against Crescent Valley at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Raiders have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 6.84 runs per game on average), something the Redhawks will no doubt try to take advantage of.
