Baseball Recap: Millbrook Takes a Loss

Millbrook was the 5-2 winner over Broughton when they last played one another back in March of 2025, but their luck changed this time around. The Wildcats took a 6-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Capitals on Tuesday. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Davis Jones and Jarvis Tripp did some serious damage despite the final result: Jones went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double, while Tripp got on base in three of his four plate appearances with three stolen bases and one run. That double was Jones' first of the season.

Millbrook's defeat dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Broughton, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-3.

While Millbrook had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
