Baseball Recap: Jennings Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Jennings, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-3 win over the Oberlin Tigers on Friday. The Bulldogs haven't had any issues with the Tigers recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Collin Watson looked comfortable as he tossed four innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit. He is becoming a predictor of Jennings' success: when he allows at most one hit the team is 2-1 (and 1-6 when he doesn't).

On the hitting side, Jude Monic was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. That home run was his first of the season. Hudson Dupuis was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 3-for-3.

Jennings' win bumped their record up to 3-7. As for Oberlin, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-4.

Jennings has already played their next contest (against Welsh), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. We've got a battle between Tigers coming up.
