Volleyball Recap: Lathrop Takes a Loss

Lathrop's tournament run continued when they took on College Park on Saturday. The Spartans took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Falcons.

Erin Chunn paced Lathrop's offense, picking up eight kills. Chunn got some help from Ayden Petroff and her 15 assists.

Lathrop's defeat dropped their record down to 15-6. As for College Park, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-7 record this season.

Lathrop wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Madera on the 11th. As for College Park, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Atwater on the 11th.
