Baseball Recap: Bluejacket Comes Up Short

Bluejacket came into their game on Monday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Colcord Hornets, falling 13-3. The Chieftains have struggled against the Hornets recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.

Bluejacket's loss dropped their record down to 9-9. As for Colcord, with the victory, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 6-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bluejacket will venture away from home to square off against Nowata at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Colcord, they will head out to take on Welch at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
