Soccer Game Preview: Northside vs. Shelby County

The Northside Rams will take on the Shelby County Wildcats at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Northside is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.4 goals per game this season.

Northside's defense heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They put the hurt on Brookwood with a sharp 5-0 victory. It was an even better day for Serenity Pate as she scored three goals for her team.

Meanwhile, Shelby County came up short against Calera on Wednesday, falling 11-1. Things were pretty much settled by the half as Shelby County were already down 10-1.

Northside's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 8-6. As for Shelby County, they dropped their record down to 3-6-1 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.

Northside took their victory against Shelby County in their previous meeting back in March by a conclusive 6-3 score. Will the Rams repeat their success, or do the Wildcats have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
