Cayden Humphrey Dazzles in Pottsboro Win

Starting off the list is Pottsboro's Cayden Humphrey, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Humphrey rushed for 126 yards and five touchdowns, and also threw for 172 yards and two touchdowns while completing 77.8% of his passes.

Unfortunately for Whitesboro, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Humphrey. When Humphrey last faced the Bearcats back in September of 2023, he rushed for 137 yards while picking up 8.6 yards per carry, and also threw for 185 yards and a touchdown.

While Life Oak Cliff might've come up empty on Thursday, Ke'Derek Wilson wasn't going down without a fight. Wilson was unstoppable, rushing for 220 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 8.5 yards per carry.

On Thursday, Life Oak Cliff had to settle for second even though Damarion Mays put up the best numbers he has all season. Mays picked up 289 receiving yards and two touchdowns. He is becoming a predictor of Life Oak Cliff's success: when he posts at least 100 receiving yards the team is 2-1 (and 3-4 when he doesn't).

On the year, Mays has caught 14 touchdowns while averaging 164 receiving yards per game.

Camren Phillips Crosses Big Stat Threshold

Another Life Oak Cliff player making an appearance on this list is Camren Phillips. He threw for 339 yards and two touchdowns, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground. He's now once again averaging 300+ passing yards (300.7) per game.
