It's playoff time, and Gatewood had no trouble coming through when it counted. They managed a 56-50 win over the Windsor Academy Knights on Tuesday. The victory continues a trend for the Gators in their matchups with the Knights: they've now won eight in a row.

Windsor Academy's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Trinity Blasingame, who posted 11 points. Blasingame continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Kyndall Bowen was another key player, putting up 19 points.

Gatewood's win bumped their record up to 10-11. As for Windsor Academy, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-22.

Coming up, Gatewood will face off against Central Fellowship Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Windsor Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
