Baseball Recap: Regis Jesuit's Undefeated Season over After Three Games

Regis Jesuit lost against Cherry Creek back in June of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Regis Jesuit fell just short of Cherry Creek by a score of 2-1. The loss put an end to the Raiders' undefeated start to the season.

Regis Jesuit saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Chase Massey, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-2. Those two stolen bases gave Massey a new career-high.

Having lost for the first time this season, Regis Jesuit fell to 2-1. As for Cherry Creek, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-4-1.

Looking ahead, Regis Jesuit will look to defend their home field on Saturday against Fossil Ridge at 1:00 p.m. Fossil Ridge will aim to continue their four-game streak of scoring more runs each match than the last. As for Cherry Creek, they will challenge Rock Canyon at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
