Recap: Windham Bombers vs. Champion Golden Flashes
The Windham Bombers were the 67-51 winner over the Champion Golden Flashes when they last played one another back in December of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. Windham took a 59-54 hit to the loss column at the hands of Champion.
Champion got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Marky Nolan out in front who scored 21 points along with three steals. Another player making a difference was Ian Orwig, who scored 15 points along with six rebounds.
Windham has been struggling recently, as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-3 record this season. As for Champion, the win got them back to even at 4-4.
Windham will be playing at home against Waterloo at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Champion won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Lakeview at 7:00 p.m. on December 30th. Hopefully Lakeview focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 20 on Friday.
