Football Recap: White County Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory + How To Watch

White County entered their tilt with Tullahoma on Friday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with a 24-13 victory over the Wildcats.

White County's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Cole Sims, who rushed for 133 yards and three touchdowns. Those three rushing touchdowns gave Sims a new career-high. Tucker Pinion also helped out as he racked up 101 rushing yards.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: White County was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 295 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 153 rushing yards in five consecutive contests dating back to last season.

White County didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Eli Smith and Eli Sparkman. Hunter Lee Broyles was another major factor on D, picking up two sacks and making six total tackles (3.0 for loss).

White County's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Tullahoma, their loss was their first of the season and also makes their record 3-1.

White County wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 14-13 victory against Livingston Academy on the 19th. As for Tullahoma, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 27-19 defeat against Nolensville on the 19th.
