Recap: Ragland Purple Devils vs. Victory Christian Lions
The Ragland Purple Devils's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They took a serious blow against Victory Christian, falling 48-21. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Ragland has scored all season.
Peyton Scott continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Victory Christian, scoring 21 points. The team also got some help courtesy of William Wilson-Hueter, who scored 13 points.
Ragland has not been sharp recently, as they've lost ten of their last 12 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-13 record this season. As for Victory Christian, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 13-9.
Ragland will head out on the road to face off against Jefferson Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Jefferson Christian Academy is on a five-game streak of home losses, Ragland a seven-game streak of away losses (dating back to last season), but someone's luck is about to change. Victory Christian will take on Appalachian at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
