Football Game Preview: Lincoln Lynx vs. Nathan Hale Raiders

The Lincoln Lynx are taking a road trip to challenge the Nathan Hale Raiders at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Lincoln is headed into the contest out to prove that what happened against West Seattle on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. The Lynx had to suffer through a 44-7 loss at the hands of West Seattle. The Lynx were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 24-0.

Meanwhile, Nathan Hale was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They were outmatched by Lakeside and fell 44-13. The Raiders were down 37-6 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Nathan Hale's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Lincoln, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.

Lincoln strolled past Nathan Hale in their previous meeting back in October of 2024 by a score of 21-7. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Lynx since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
