Softball Recap: Carmel Comes Up Short

Carmel lost against Marist back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Corsairs came up short against the RedHawks, falling 12-3. The Corsairs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Grace King made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and fired off two home runs and three RBI while going 2-for-3.

Carmel's loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 6-1 and their overall record down to 11-4. As for Marist, the win was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 16-1.

While Carmel had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
