Station Camp proved they can win big last Friday (they won by 41) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They slipped by Rockvale 32-31.

Matthew Dickens threw for 86 yards and one TD. Eric Ginther was his top target, picking up 42 receiving yards.

When it comes to explaining why Rockvale lost, don't look at Jonathan Hamby. Despite the final result, he rushed for 40 yards and a pair of scores, and also threw for 193 yards and one touchdown. Another player making a difference was Anton Reynolds, who rushed for 82 yards and one TD on only eight carries.

Station Camp's record is now 2-0. As for Rockvale, their defeat was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Station Camp is packing up and heading out for their first away game of the season: they will take on White House at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Rockvale, they will challenge LaVergne on Friday. This will be Rockvale's first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
