Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Bloomington). They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Normal West Wildcats 48-16 on the road. The result was nothing new for the Purple Raiders, who have now won three matchups by 27 points or more so far this season.

Rob Lanier continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 172 yards and a touchdown while picking up 7.5 yards per carry. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in rushing yards. Another player making a difference was AJ Codron, who threw for 110 yards and three touchdowns while completing 75% of his passes.

Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Bloomington was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 295 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 157 rushing yards in seven consecutive matches dating back to last season.
