John Curtis Christian had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They didn't even let the Tioga Indians on the board on Saturday, marking the Patriots' second-straight 10-0 shutout. Considering the Patriots have won 12 contests by more than six runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

John Curtis Christian has been performing well recently as they've won 18 of their last 22 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-8 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.0 runs over those games. As for Tioga, their defeat dropped their record down to 23-9.

Looking ahead, John Curtis Christian will take on Archbishop Chapelle on Friday. The Chipmunks will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Patriots surely won't give up without a fight. Tioga does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
