Volleyball Preview: Hanford Bullpups vs. Lemoore Tigers
The Hanford Bullpups will venture away from home to square off against the Lemoore Tigers at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Both teams are coming into the game red-hot, with Hanford sitting on three straight wins and Lemoore on four.
Last Thursday, Hanford was able to grind out a solid victory over Mission Oak, taking the game 3-1.
Hanford walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-21, 20-25, 25-19.
Meanwhile, Lemoore made easy work of Tulare Western on Thursday and carried off a 3-0 victory.
The final score came out to 25-19, 25-22, 25-23.
Hailey Ferreira and Nala Flores were among the main playmakers for Lemoore as the former had 13 digs, five aces, and a kill and the latter had ten digs. That's the most aces Ferreira has posted since back in September.
Hanford's win bumped their record up to 5-11. As for Lemoore, they pushed their record up to 14-7 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road.
