Wisconsin Rapids Lincoln is 1-9 against Stevens Point since September of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Red Raiders will venture away from home to take on the Panthers at 7:00 p.m.

Meanwhile, Stevens Point had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Saturday. They came out on top against the Warriors by a score of 3-1.

Stevens Point had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 23-25, 25-20, 25-12, 25-11.

Wisconsin Rapids Lincoln better focus on containing Annabell Ebel and Katie Kornowski as the pair were huge in Stevens Point's win. Ebel had 20 digs and three aces, while Kornowski had 13 digs and two aces. Kornowski has been hot for a while, having also posted 13 or more assists the last 72 times she's played.

Stevens Point was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 11 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in three consecutive matches.

Wisconsin Rapids Lincoln's loss dropped their record down to 5-21. As for Stevens Point, their record now sits at 27-7.
