Basketball Game Preview: Ribault Trojans vs. Orange Park Raiders

The Ribault Trojans will challenge the Orange Park Raiders at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Ribault is coming into the contest hot, having won their last four games.

Last Friday, Ribault was able to grind out a solid win over Andrew Jackson, taking the game 72-60.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Ribault to victory, but perhaps none more so than Trinity Berry, who went 9 for 18 en route to 27 points. Berry's evening made it five games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Trista Brown, who posted 18 points along with eight assists and seven rebounds.

Meanwhile, Orange Park was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Saturday as they fell 51-45 to Ridgeview.

Ribault is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 15-8 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.8 points per game. As for Orange Park, their loss dropped their record down to 13-10.

Ribault took a serious blow against Orange Park when the teams last played back in January of 2022, falling 70-22. Thankfully for Ribault, Eris Lester (who went 9 of 17 on her way to 30 points and six boards) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
