After flying high against Legacy on Tuesday, Holliday came back down to earth. The Eagles lost 3-0 to the Memorial Mavericks on Friday. The Eagles' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

While Holliday was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-23, 25-18.

Holliday's loss dropped their record down to 13-7. As for Memorial, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That somehow still isn't as good as their 20-4 record this season.

Holliday will challenge Jacksboro at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Memorial, they will head out to challenge Ryan at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
