Volleyball Recap: Hardy Memorial Falls to Grundy County in First Game of Season

Hardy Memorial had to start their season on the road on Tuesday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They came up short against the Grundy County Yellowjackets, falling 3-0. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it seven in a row.

The final score came out to 25-17, 25-13, 25-12.

The win got Grundy County back to even at 1-1.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Hardy Memorial will face off against rival Bledsoe County at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Grundy County is set to challenge their familiar foe Marion County at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
