Volleyball Game Preview: Calhan Bulldogs vs. Liberty Tree Academy War Eagles

The Calhan Bulldogs will challenge the Liberty Tree Academy War Eagles at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Calhan came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 3-0 to Swink. The Bulldogs' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

While Calhan was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Swink's winning margin in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-11, 25-20.

Meanwhile, Liberty Tree Academy came up short against Pikes Peak Christian on Thursday, falling 3-0.

Calhan's defeat dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Liberty Tree Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 4-11.

Everything went Calhan's way against Liberty Tree Academy in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as Calhan made off with a 3-0 win. Will the Bulldogs repeat their success, or do the War Eagles have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
