Softball Recap: Arlington Takes a Loss

If Arlington was feeling good fresh off their 13-2 takedown of Pandora-Gilboa last Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Red Devils came up short against the North Baltimore Tigers on Friday, falling 18-1. The defeat continues a trend for the Red Devils in their meetings with the Tigers: they've now lost three in a row.

Arlington now has a losing record of 1-2. As for North Baltimore, their victory bumped their record up to 2-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Arlington will host Cory-Rawson at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Red Devils are facing the Fighting Hornets at the right time seeing as the Fighting Hornets are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for North Baltimore, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Vanlue at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Tigers will also cruise into their next contest with the timing on their side: the Wildcats will have lost three straight heading into Saturday's game.
