Shamokin Area extended their postseason success on Tuesday against Central Columbia. They put the hurt on the Central Columbia Bluejays with a sharp 57-32 win. The Indians have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 15 games by 20 points or more this season.

Jenssyn Shuey was nothing short of spectacular: he almost dropped a double-double with 16 points and nine boards. Thanks to that strong game, he now owns an excellent 45.2% field goal percentage. The team also got some help courtesy of Joe Hile, who went 6-for-14 to rack up 12 points.

Shamokin Area has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 15 of their last 16 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-3 record this season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 27.5 points. Central Columbia moved to 17-7 with that loss, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

Shamokin Area wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 48-47 defeat against Danville on the 28th. As for Central Columbia, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 57-52 loss against Mount Carmel on the 28th.
