Baseball Recap: Mechanicville Beats Tamarac for Their Third Straight Win

Mechanicville extended their winning streak to three on Friday, bumping their season record up to 9-3 in the process. They blew past the Tamarac Bengals 9-3. The Red Raiders might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four matchups by six runs or more this season.

As for Tamarac, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-4. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat they have suffered since April 8, 2024.

For Tamarac's part, they saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Owen Blakesley, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. Jacob Smith was another, going 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double.
