Basketball Recap: Rayne Comes Up Short

Rayne was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 63-47 bruising from the Crowley Gent. The Wolves were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Gent apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in December of 2023.

Rayne's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Crowley, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Rayne will welcome Church Point at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Crowley, they will challenge Elton at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The timing is sure in Crowley's favor as the squad sits on eight straight wins at home (dating back to last season) while Elton has been banged up by four consecutive losses on the road.
