Football Game Preview: Bristol Central Rams vs. Simsbury Trojans

The Bristol Central Rams are taking a road trip to take on the Simsbury Trojans at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

On Friday, Bristol Central was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 30-26 to Enfield. The Rams haven't had much luck with the Eagles recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Bristol Central might have lost, but man, Gabriel Ouellette was a machine: he rushed for 159 yards and two TDs while picking up 7.6 yards per carry. Ouellette showed off some serious burst, turning on the afterburners on one carry for 57 yards.

Meanwhile, Simsbury came up short against Conard on Friday and fell 21-13.

Bristol Central's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Simsbury, their loss dropped their record down to 1-7.
