Football Recap: Brooklyn Knote Leads Pompano Beach's Defense on Monday

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Pompano Beach had no problem doing just that on Monday. They secured a 6-0 W over the Boynton Beach Tigers. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Golden Tornadoes.

Pompano Beach's defense made their presence known, laying out the QB five times. In that department, Brooklyn Knote was the leader with four sacks. She also made five total tackles, which is notable because Pompano Beach is 2-1 when she posts at least three total tackles, but 6-7 otherwise.

The win got Pompano Beach back to even at 8-8. As for Boynton Beach, the loss snapped their winning streak at five games and leaves them with a 9-4 record.

Pompano Beach didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 24-6 defeat against Dr. Joaquin Garcia on the 15th. Boynton Beach does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
