Fife had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 3.3 goals) and they went ahead and made it five on Tuesday. They walked away with a 4-2 victory over the Steilacoom Sentinels. The final result isn't all the surprising considering Fife's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Washington soccer rankings (they are ranked 45th, while Steilacoom are ranked 153rd).

Fife pushed their record up to 5-1-1 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 11 goals over those three matchups. As for Steilacoom, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-3-1.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Fife is set to face off against their familiar foe Washington at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Steilacoom will challenge rival Franklin Pierce at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
