Basketball Recap: South Wasco County Extends Winning Streak to Three

While South Wasco County didn't have the best season last year (they finished 9-17), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. The stars were shining brightly for them in a 55-39 win over the Powers Cruisers on Saturday. The victory was familiar territory for the Redsides who have now won three games in a row.

South Wasco County's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-1. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.5 points per game. As for Powers, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-4.

South Wasco County will wrap up 2024 with a road trip to face off against Country Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Powers, they will be taking part in a tournament against Toledo at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
