Winning always takes teamwork, but on Friday Luke Gagnon stepped things up a notch to give Newtown the 'W'. Gagnon rushed for 132 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only nine carries, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. His longest rush was for an impressive 61 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.

Looking ahead, Gagnon and Newtown will be playing at home against Bethel at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Gagnon will face off against Kaden Islami, the Wildcats' star running back.
