The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.4 runs over those games. As for Tompkins, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 21-11 record this season.

George Ranch will have a chance to go back-to-back against Tompkins: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
