Volleyball Recap: Chambers/Wheeler Central Takes a Loss

Chambers/Wheeler Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat. They came up short against the St. Mary's Cardinals, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cardinals this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

The final score came out to 25-16, 25-15, 25-13.

St. Mary's can attribute much of their success to Bethany Leisy, who had 17 digs.

Chambers/Wheeler Central's loss dropped their record down to 5-23. As for St. Mary's, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 12 matchups. That somehow still isn't as good as their 23-7 record this season.

Chambers/Wheeler Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for St. Mary's, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Stuart on the 28th.
